Pescara vini

The passion for the mountains and skiing has often led me to visit different appealing places in the Alps like Switzerland. In the collective imagination, Switzerland is a place known for its deep valleys, steep slopes, rocks and glaciers. Nevertheless, even in an austere impervious territory, the vines surprises us with heroic forms of viticulture. The canton of Valais, a district with around 5000 hectares of vineyards, was a surprise for me. During a trip decided at the last minute to understand where to spend the end of 2017, together with my wife we reached our friends in Crans-Montana. Along the road that leads from Sion to this beautiful alpine village we witnessed a unique view. Vineyards with narrow planting layout on steep slopes until 1000 meters above sea level, all facing south where the sun warms them even during the frosty days of winter.
