Agronomist – Oenologist

The fascination for nature and the environment, that I have had since childhood, has made an indissoluble bond grow between me and everything connected to the earth. It is said that “Where love is the eye runs”, in fact I could never be able to help but look at the spectacle of mother nature in her seasonal clothes without feeling better inside my soul, beyond any rational logic. Growing up, I pursued this unconditional passion of mine, letting myself be guided by instinct, trying to give it a shape, a substance. In agriculture I found the perfect combination between the love I have for nature and the land that feeds me, in the vine and its deep roots I have seen the same bond, in the wine I have tasted its most characteristic fruits. As a result of all this, I begin to recognize people who unconditionally offer their love to the earth.

Sommelier

After my first wine experiences were passing, I felt a deep need to create a contact with the world that surrounds wine production, made up of people who try to filter and to understand the secrets of the production of the “divine nectar”. The narration of my experiential world, consisting of vivid paths has always been my deep desire. In the modern world, the practice of communication includes varied experiences also concerning the anthropological field, in fact those attending the tasting and wine world courses are encouraged to learn about the oldest of the Mediterranean crops: “The Vine” that has always urged men to produce wine, an element that contemplates the satisfaction of the senses and the spirit.

Panel Test &
Wine Analysis

Getting to know wine is a fascinating experience, a combination of the interpretation of sensations and the perception of a message with a thousand shades. During the discovery of wine, tactile, olfactory and visual sensations are involved, which find an extreme synthesis in the measurement and connotation in objective data. Wine has a real language of interpretation to which I pay a lot of attention from the earliest stages of production. The sensory analysis of grapes, musts and wines combined with an in-depth chemical analysis cannot be separated from each other, since both allow to trace a defined profile of the product and its potential. The interpretation of the sensory and analytical data of the wine is a fundamental part of my work, the key to interpreting a design that starts from the bunch and becomes concrete in the glass.
